I offer private nutrition coaching to help you develop a healthy relationship with food, your mind, and your body—so that you can have more energy and mental space for important things and people in life that matter most.

As an intuitive eating dietitian, I'll help you reclaim control of your body's internal hunger and fullness cues, and help you rediscover the pleasure and satisfaction of eating—without guilt or shame. I also incorporate my training in meditation and yoga, to help you find a balanced approach to food and physical movement. 

Together we will explore harmful beliefs you hold about food and your body, and gradually help you replace them with compassionate thoughts, effective tools and strategies to help you feel your best. 

 

My Philosophy and Mission

No dairy, no gluten, no carbs, no fat… who can keep up with the latest forbidden foods?!

The simple fact is: Diets don't work. They do not lead to sustainable weight loss and can actually cause more harm.

What does work: When you listen to your body and eat what makes YOU feel good = Balance. 

You see, exposure to the dieting world weakens our body's internal cues. Instead of naturally eating when we're full and naturally stopping when satisfied, we live in a culture that is dependent on external factors (diets, Instagram bloggers, celebs and books) to tell us what we should or shouldn't eat, how much and when. To help you regain the natural trust you once had with yourself, I use an Intuitive Eating approach to rewire your habits from the most fundamental level. 

I practice evidence-based nutrition science with a Health at Every Size approach. This means that I will never put you on a diet or encourage weight loss, no matter what size you are.  Instead, I'll help you achieve true health by focusing on your body's internal needs rather than exterior goals. 

My mission is to help you ditch the diet, learn how to eat normally (no food rules or guilt!) and help you become self-reliant on your own intuition for hunger, fullness, movement, and rest.

Individual sessions are offered in person or online via a secure telehealth program. 

When we begin, we will explore your beliefs around food, wellness and body image. We will uncover the ways in which the diet mentality is showing up for you and develop strategies to help you break free from negative thoughts and behaviors around food.
