Hi, I'm Laura
A registered dietitian nutritionist, an intuitive eating coach, a yoga teacher and an unwavering optimist, dedicated to helping you heal your relationship with food and your body.
Several years ago, food was always on my mind.
This started with the very first time someone commented on my weight as a child. Restricting. Bingeing on ice cream and chips. Starting over on Monday.
Holding onto the pair of jeans from college, hoping to "one day fit into them again." Self-imposed weekly weigh ins. Feeling shame, regret, self-loathe. Juice cleanses with no favorite foods allowed. Dreaded workouts. Pressure to fit into a swimsuit. Counting calories.
Does any of this sound familiar to you?
If you've said yes, I want you to know that you are not alone.
After years of disordered eating, I knew I didn't want to spend the rest of my life constantly thinking about food and being at war with my body.
I decided that making peace with myself was more important than the number on the scale.
So I decided to adopt a completely new approach to eating, one that didn't involve counting calories or cutting out foods I love.
Now, my life isn't controlled by food. I don't obsess over it. And I have so much more free time!
I eat to feel healthy and energized, while also satisfying all of my cravings.
I exercise because I enjoy it, not because I think I should.
Best of all, I feel so much more happier and comfortable in my own skin.
I know what it's like to dislike the body you're in and to feel like you're not good enough.
I also want you to know that it doesn't have to be this way.
If you're tired of fighting food and your body, and want to be able to enjoy ALL FOODS without guilt, to live life with more balance and ease, then it's time to re-connect with your own body. This is known as Intuitive Eating.
Let go of the diet mentality and rediscover the joy of eating and movement.
If you'd like to regain control of your life, this link leads the way.

She received her yoga training through Strala (Tara Stiles, Mike Taylor, Sam Berlind). Here, she began to explore movement in a novel way—By moving her body in ways she felt good, she was able to connect with herself in a way that she hadn't experienced before. Her symptoms of IBS resolved, she became more connected, aware, creative, stronger and happier—from the inside, out. As a yoga guide, she helps people reconnect to their breath & body, empowering them to drop the stress, heal, and handle life’s challenges with ease. This is yoga that moves beyond the poses and off the mat, it’s about helping people feel good in their own bodies.
